We will have our Homecoming dance on Saturday, October 4, from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM. The dance theme is Rio - Carnvial.

What’s the one thing that helps students thrive in school? Consistent attendance! September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we want to remind everyone that showing up every day makes a huge difference. Regular attendance not only boosts academic performance but also builds confidence and a sense of belonging. Let’s work together to make sure every student is present and engaged.

Today is Native American Day. We recognize and celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures, and enduring contributions of Native American people. This day serves as an important reminder to reflect on the past and commit to continued learning and fostering strong relationships with our local Indigenous communities. We encourage everyone to take a moment today to learn more about the Native American heritage that shapes our state and region.

Did you know that Hispanic Heritage Month began on September 15? The date is significant because it's the anniversary of independence for several Latin American countries! The traditions, languages, and unique perspectives enrich our classrooms. Our district is proud to be a place where we can learn from and honor the traditions, achievements, and stories of our Hispanic and Latino families.

The RHS football game has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 9/20, at 7:00 PM, at Rochester High School. Come cheer the Warriors on to victory!

Due to air quality conditions, the football game originally scheduled for 9/19 is rescheduled to Saturday, September 20, at 7 pm.

Tonight's football contest with Aberdeen is cancelled. Due to deteriorating air conditions Rochester High School is sad to inform our community that our scheduled contest with Aberdeen tonight, 9/19/25 is cancelled.

Good afternoon! Parent Information event tonight at RHS @ 6:30 in the library. This is for all parents of RHS students. Come learn about our goals for the year and learn about Gear Up. Happy National IT Professionals Day! We want to give a huge shout-out to our amazing IT team, Jon and Josh. They're the unsung heroes who keep our district running smoothly. With over 5,000 pieces of equipment and more than 280 staff members to support, their work behind the scenes is invaluable—especially during this busy time of year.

Thank you, Jon and Josh, for your tireless efforts. We truly appreciate you!

1st Home Football Game and Back 2 School Bash!

Tomorrow is our first home game of the season. We expect a large crowd. That means parking will be available over at RPS and GMES.

Park there and walk over. See you at the game!

Good luck to our Lady Warriors Volleyball team as they take on Napavine tonight in their first home match of the season! JV starts at 5:00pm, with Varsity to follow at 6:30pm. We are excited to introduce our new School Resource Officer, Deputy Mancuso! He’s already been making his rounds at all of our schools, getting to know staff and students, and we’re thrilled to have him join the Warrior team. REMINDER: Tomorrow is a full day of instruction. Classes will dismiss at 2:25.

The first Friday and the last Friday of the school year are full instructional days.

We are off to a wonderful start to the new school year! It has been so awesome to see our Warriors walk through the doors, reconnect with friends, and meet their new teachers. A big thank you to our dedicated staff who have been there every step of the way—welcoming students with smiles, lending a helping hand, and making sure everyone feels at home.
