All students in Rochester School District are given benchmark tests in  literacy and math three times per year to assess student progress. 

In K-8th the assessment used is the iReady diagnostic in reading and math. 

​All students in grades 3rd-10th are given the Smarter Balanced Assessment for mathematics and language arts.
