Welcome to the home of the Warriors! We are a comprehensive 9-12 high school in Southwest Washington, located on the I-5 corridor just 20 minutes south of Olympia and 10 minutes north of Centralia. Our school community consists of approximately 625 students and 53 staff members. We share a rich tradition of academics, activities and athletics here and our alumni can be found across the globe. Whatever a student wants to become, RHS can be a great launching pad for future success.

Rochester High School’s educational program includes all major subjects and a variety of specialized subjects as well. There are many courses at RHS where college credit can be awarded, including five different Advanced Placement courses. We have several Career and Technical programs where students can learn skills that may pertain to their post-secondary plans, such as welding, horticulture, video production and child development.

As students become involved at RHS, they have several clubs to choose from. We have a strong and nationally recognized FFA program in addition to active FBLA and FCCLA chapters. We also offer students the chance to join Knowledge Bowl and our chapter of the National Honor Society. Our arts department is active as well. We have a growing ceramics program and our drama department produces two outstanding plays each year. In addition, we have an award-winning choir while our concert and marching bands participate in several events both locally and in other communities.

Finally, we have a strong history of competitive athletics at RHS including both team and individual state championships. We believe athletics and activities are an important part of the educational program and we work to provide students with an experience that reflects that philosophy. Through these programs, we strive for students to learn lessons about work-ethic, overcoming adversity, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and leadership.
