Thematic Unit: School
Introduction of letter recognition and related sounds
Phonemic Awareness - Hearing and distinguishing sounds in words
Print Concepts - title, direction (reading left to right, top to bottom), and one-to-one correspondence.
Reading comprehension - prediction, clarrifying, drawing conclusions, sight word recognition, and vocabulary.
